Patrick Anderson has had a long commitment to civic duty and service. For ten years, he served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in California, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Patrick earned a U.S. Air Force Achievement Medal for his contribution as a communications specialist during Operation Desert Storm. He was then assigned to Space Command where he was awarded an Air Force Commendation Medal for his role in over 30 Space Shuttle missions.

After receiving an honorable discharge, Patrick entered the private sector and worked as a systems administrator for one of the largest technology hedge funds in the world. As the Iraq War build up started, Patrick took a contract to serve as a Financial Systems Administrator with the U.S. Air Force.  After working with the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Interior, Patrick moved over to the Department of Transportation as a contractor. In his first year, he applied for and accepted a federal employee position and is working as an Information Systems Specialist with the Federal Highway Administration.

Patrick is a technology enthusiast and has used his skills as a web designer to create websites for his high school alumni association, homeowner associations, small businesses and military community groups. In addition, he has also compiled a collection of portable software that has been featured on CNN Radio and Digg.com.

Patrick has been happily married for 15 years to his wife Jennifer. They have one son who is almost 13 years old. As a family, they enjoy exploring the many parks and trails just west of the Denver Metro.
