The 4th Annual Centennial Under the Stars – August 8, 2009
The 4th Annual Celebrate Centennial Under the Stars event is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, at the Centennial Medical Plaza. The City of Centennial and Centennial Medical Plaza have once again joined forces to promote a city-wide, community event with a kids' movie and fireworks, beginning at 6 p.m. The Medical Plaza is located at 14200 East Arapahoe Rd.
This FREE, family event includes interactive fitness demonstrations, vendors from throughout the City, family activities, health screenings, entertainment, food and a twilight movie ending with a spectacular fireworks show. A variety of food will be for sale at the event.
Exhibitor and vendor booths open at 6 p.m. The movie, Kung Fu Panda will begin at dusk followed by a fireworks show. The event is scheduled from 6 – 10 p.m. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for movie watching.
This very popular annual event, exceeded attendance expectations last year with approximately 2,500 attendees.
